RTE Liveline caller asks Joe Duffy if he is a 'big fat s****' before telling him to 'wind his neck in'

A perplexed Liveline caller confused Joe Duffy and listeners, asking the host if he was a 'big fat s****' before telling him 'wind neck in' in a hilarious exchange.

The Belfast caller seemed not to know why she was on the show and apologised for ringing in.

She started by profusely apologising about her lack of knowledge about the Doagh Famine Museum in Donegal.

She said: “You know what Joe, I’m sitting here crying.

“I didn’t know the information about what we’re talking about.

“It’s really upsetting.”

The woman was devastated that the conversation had become based on “political s****.”

She admitted that she was uniformed as to the nature of her call into the radio station.

“I didn’t know the conversation was going to be about that there.”

She was left feeling a bit ‘fallen out’ but continued to wonder about the direction of the pair’s chat on national radio.

She quickly became frustrated with the Liveline presenter when he asked her how Belfast was after the Twelfth.

“Ah Joe, wind your neck in will you.

“Sure you know the friggin’ crack.”

The Belfast woman went on to say that the RTÉ presenter was annoying her.

“Joe you’re wrecking my head.”

Shortly after, the concerned listener enquired about his physical health.

“Are ya a big fat s**** are ya?”

Joe Duffy desperately tried to steer the lady back towards her original point of conversation that she had long forgotten about.

His attempts were futile as the caller had already set her sights on another famous radio presenter.

She had some specific requests for the Ronan Collins show.

“Tell Ronan Collins don’t be playing ‘Simply the Best’…

“When I see Ronan Collins I’m going to choke the life out of him.”
