After impressing audiences during last year's Late Late Toy Show, teenager Michael Moloney returned to the RTE studios to perform his very first song.
Michael, 14, from Mayo, went viral last December after he performed on the Late Late Toy Show where he was surprised by singer Dermot Kennedy.
During a memorable performance. the 'Outnumbered' singer joined Michael on stage for a duet of Kennedy’s hit song, Giants.

Michael and Dermot’s rendition of the song wowed audiences and Moloney shot to stardom overnight, gaining over 38k followers on Instagram and clocking up nearly 1.3m views on Youtube.
However, after the show aired, the teenager was given two special gifts, a recording session at Windmill Lane studios in Dublin and a Fender guitar.
Well, Michael has put those to good use because on May 21, he will release his first single, All That I Do, through Universal Ireland and the track is dedicated to his beloved late father Emmett, who passed away in 2017.
In terms of tonight's performance, after entertaining Late Late Show viewers with his debut song, Michael was then shown a message from Dermot Kennedy.
"Michael, I just wanted to say congratulations on the release of your first single, it is miles better than anything I could have done at your age, and you should be so proud, so well done," said the Dubliner.
In terms of the performance, lots of viewers were impressed with Michael's debut track.
'A wonderful voice and song by Michael Maloney,' 'Michael Moloney take a bow, unbelievable talent' and 'what a great song! Beautiful lyrics and professionally delivered. Bravo!!' were some of the comments made.
Elsewhere, some viewers are already earmarking the mayo teenager as a future Eurovision entry for Ireland.
"He won't be old enough next year, but I vote we send Michael Moloney to represent us at #Eurovision in 2023. Kid with a guitar? Shoe in" while another viewer said they were "in tears here after watching Michael Moloney’s performance on The Late Late Show, such a gorgeous song and a beautiful tribute to his Dad - I hope his star continues to rise and he gets all the deserved success."
