Ryan Tubridy returned to screens once again last night for the last Late Late Show of the year.
Tubs sat down for the grand finale before taking a break for the summer with a host of spectacular guests.
The RTE host spoke with Irish Olympic medallists and rising stars of the future in a special final show of the season as they gear up for Japan this summer.
Katie Taylor, World Champion boxer and Olympic gold medallist, also spoke to Ryan for her first in-depth Late Late Show interview since turning professional five years ago.
Trica Heberle, Chef de Mission Team Ireland, and Peter Sherrard, CEO of the Olympic Federation of Ireland, were also in the studio to discuss the unprecedented hurdles faced to get to the Olympic Games this year.
However it was Toy Show star Adam King's return to the Late Late studio that really had viewers talking.
The Cork lad stole the hearts of the nation when he first appeared on the Toy Show last November and introduced the country to his 'virtual hug.'
Adam spoke all about his aspirations to one day work for NASA and has had a whirlwind year since with NASA and the likes of astronaut Chris Hadfield reaching out to Adam personally to talk all things space.
But Adam revealed the latest public figure to reach out to him was none other than US president Joe Biden.
In a touching letter addressed to Adam, president Biden said that he had heard all about his virtual hugs from the Taoiseach and encouraged him to "work very hard" to end up working for CAPCOM in Houston and said he will inspire people to reach for the stars.
President Biden also gifted Adam a US and an Irish flag that have been aboard missions to space, and told him "they both flew the route you will fly someday"
He signed the note "your friend, Joe Biden".
Naturally viewers couldn't get enough of Adam and his amazing story.
