RTE Late Late show host Ryan Tubridy said that Christmas officially kicks off for him and his daughters Ella and Julia with The Late Late Toy Show.
The duo used to be embarrassed by his antics on the festive themed show but now they are starting to respect his iconic role.
Dublin native Ryan told RSVP Live: "They are a mildly mortified at what I do and I don't blame them. As one gets older, there is a sort of curious respect starting to grow.
"But they are a great influence on me for The Late Late Toy Show ", RSVP Live reports.
He previously said that presenting the yuletide edition of The Late Late Show allows him to stay in touch with Santa and the girls childhood.
Ryan told us: "My girls are older now and when I hang out with kids on set, it gets me back to that gorgeous connection between children and childhood that I love so much.
"It allows me to be in touch with the next generation all of the time, that is the bonus of the job."
