RTE Late Late guest and TikTok star responds to those who 'don't like her' after interview

Late Late Show guest Miriam Mullins says she was on "the biggest buzz" after appearing on Ireland's premier talk show on Friday night.

The social media star, who admitted she was "nervous" before the interview, also had a message for anyone who wasn't a fan of her.

Speaking on Instagram, Miriam said: "I know there is probably people out there that probably watched that interview that don't like me and don't like my content and wanted to pick apart stuff and wanted to tweet stuff about me.

"Whatever, let them do it, their life is going to be negative, their negative people and they're putting bad vibes out to the world and they'll get bad vibes back."

Miriam insisted that positivity is key and said one of her goals this year was to make an appearance on the Late Late Show.

The social media sensation has gathered over 1.6 million followers on TikTok since she began making videos in 2020.

Mullins had been working in the States but decided to move back to her family home in Cork due to the pandemic, and that’s when she started creating content.

She’s best known for her "classic Irish mammy videos," but often covers important topics like consent on her page as well.

She told Ryan Tubridy; "I've done videos where I've had messages of consent in them.

"I try and do a bit of that.

"I get messages from teenage girls and teenage boys all of the time about 'what do I do in this situation?'"

To date, the 25-year-old Cork native has clocked up an incredible 93 million views on her videos and is guaranteed to have garnered many more after her appearance on the show.

Viewers across Ireland have been applauding the young woman for being a ‘positive influence’ on teens in Ireland after she said; "I absolutely love being a role model to young people."

Responding online, one person wrote; "What a great role model."

Another said; "Well done Miriam Mullins, she is such a positive influence on young people.

"She gave a guest talk to my first-year marketing students earlier in the year and was fantastic at answering questions."

A third viewer wrote; "Say whatever you want about Miriam Mullins but she has been a great influence on teen girls for years."
