RTE Kin viewers spot well known Dublin locations in episode two of crime drama

Dublin viewers of Kin had some fun during last night's episode as they spotted different locations around the capital that scenes were filmed in.

The RTE crime drama is based on the southside of Dublin city, with many of the capital's noticeable landmarks featuring in the show.

Dubliners took to Twitter last night to point out areas and venues in our fair city that made it into Sunday's episode.

The Mayson Hotel

The city centre hotel is located on North Wall Quay and was featured in last night's episode.

Gang boss Frank frequents the stylish hotel bar, with two scenes from episode two set there.

Lansdowne Lane

The RTE production crew seemed to have replaced the 'Lansdowne lane' sign with fictional name 'Comer place'.

Jimmy and Amanda's home is situated on the iconic Ballsbridge Road and fans were quick to spot the new name RTE crews had given it.

Aviva Stadium

Dublin's Aviva stadium featured in the background numerous times in Kin's first two episodes, serving as a backdrop of Jimmy and Amanda's lavish home.

One viewer joked: "If joining a crime family is what it takes to get a big gaffe by the Aviva then sign me up!"
