RTE is looking for people to take part in a new series called Operation Covid Nation.
The show, which is essentially an Operation Transformation spin off, will feature people from different facets of the society as they go through coronavirus lockdown.
Operation Transformation host Kathryn Thomas said the new series is a good idea for people to “see what’s happening in different households and how different households are coping with a new norm”.
She added: “There's no such thing as college, school, work, and recreation and everything has changed for everybody. Different households are coping with it in different ways.
“So a retired couple who are self isolating are having an entirely different experience, to two parents with five teenagers living in the house and are trying to keep them in, to friends who are living together. People from overseas who’re here who can’t get home.”
A total of four households will be featured and will be paid a fee for appearing on the show.
Speaking to Ray D’Arcy on RTE Radio 1, Kathryn said: “We want to see how [people] are coping with this new norm. We’re looking for families, couples, maybe people who have their elderly parents living with them, maybe a flatshare together of students, people living with teenagers.”
