RTE Home of the Year viewers take aim at one judge again as they notice one thing

Home of the Year viewers were again taken aback by judge Amanda Bone's harsh comments and scoring on the latest episode of the show.

On Tuesday night, three homes again battled for supremacy and the chance to compete in the final of the popular RTE tv show.

In the end it was a stunning 140-year-old restored Dublin home that became the seventh property to book a spot in the finale show.

Judge Hugh Wallace said on the show: "From the outside, you knew there was something special going on and when you walked into the hall it was a lovely restoration with all the dints of time."

And while much of the commentary online was about how beautiful the houses were, Amanda Bone and her tough comments struck many people.

The brilliant judge has ruffled many a feather since joining the show this year and Tuesday was no different.

Many viewers said that they aren't sure what the judge wants, and that it would take something completely white to woo her.

Andrea Horan tweeted: "Just give Amanda a white box with a view through to the back garden and be done with it."

Laura Hallisey added: "I knew Amanda would hate it."

While Philip Nolan said: "“It feels like an assault on my senses.”

"Senses plural? Sure you only like white."

Another fan said: "“Irish people are obsessed with privacy” No Amanda, I don’t think anyone wants their neighbours seeing them in the shower."

Home of the Year airs on Tuesday nights on RTÉ One at 8.30pm or catch up on RTÉ Player.
