Will Casey is set to turn Carrigstown upside down again in Fair City tonight - as the bad boy decides to rob McCoys and badly injure Hayley Collins in desperation for money.
As Will feels the heat from Ger to pay him what he owes, he couldn’t help himself when he overheard Hayley and Darragh speak about the night-safe routine for McCoy’s.
On Tuesday night viewers saw him packing a balaclava intent on getting McCoy's cash.
And tonight, his masked attempt at snatching the McCoy’s cash run ends with an injured Hayley, played by Rebecca Grimes.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s episode[Thurs], actor John Cronin said: 'Will has been running out of options and running out of friends but he still thinks he can turn it all around with his most desperate gamble yet...'
With Hayley knocked to the ground, and in shock of his failed snatch and grab Will runs away.
Stashing the cash in a safe place, he acts quickly and to get himself out of trouble comes across the scene where Hayley lies, being cared for by Dearbhla.
With Dearbhla asking whether or not Hayley got a good look at her attacker, Will tells them that that's not what's important at that moment, making sure that Hayley is ok until an ambulance arrives.
Having tended to Hayley’s injuries, Ger thanks Will for acting fast.
And so with the stolen money safe, Will thinks his problems are over.
But the question is, will Hayley remember who her attacker was and might Will eventually pay for all of what he has done since coming to Carrigstown?
