Cian’s mother sends another lawyer, Claire, in her place, who begins prepping him in order to get ahead of Dearbhla’s accusations.

Mondo informs Dearbhla that Cian has hired a lawyer, spurring her to make a report to the guards.

Claire informs Dearbhla that Cian will be suing her for defamation.

And Dearbhla is worried when Claire warns her that details of her personal life will be revealed if it goes to trial.

Elsewhere, needing their own space, Erica and Doug look for new accommodation, but find all the listings too expensive.

At the same time, Sharon receives a text from the bank that her account is in arrears.

Dolores advises Pete to step back and give Erica and Doug their space with baby Nora.

And a financially stricken Sharon suggests that Erica and Doug become her tenants, offering a solution to all of their problems.

Meanwhile, across the road, James provides Rafferty with the list of investors, but he is not satisfied.

And he is even less impressed when he learns that James lodged some of the investment money into his personal account and orders him to return it to the company account.

Rafferty gate-crashes James’ tech event, embarrassing him in front of potential investors.

He then informs James that he is done with him and later reveals his disappointment in the failure of the original development plan to Carol.
