RTE Claire Byrne Live viewers bewilder over bizarre toy segment

RTE viewers have slammed a segment on Claire Byrne Live last night on toy organisation.

Professional organiser Vera Keohanen explained the best way to tidy your family playroom and what to do with toys that have had their day.

She told Claire that cluttered toy boxes lead to children becoming disinterested and it's better for toys to be clearly seen and organised.

It was also advised that each child should have their own separate section in the playroom.

On the show, it was revealed that the majority of unwanted toys end up in landfills as most charity shops won't take them.

Viewers were not impressed with the segment, with some saying that there were more toys on the current affairs show than there were on Friday night's Late Late Toy Show.

People took to Twitter to slam the segment.

Here's what viewers had to say:

"How to organise your toys. Is this it? Are we through the looking glass with the #CBLive show?"

"It's the toy show again #cblive"

"Watching #cblive with my jaw hanging open as they spend a full section on how to organise your toys and what bins to put the broken ones in."

"I managed to rear 3 children and I never needed anyone to show me how to organise toys. Is this for real? #cblive"

"Dump everything in general waste bin because kids only want new toys. Got it."
