Jennifer Zamparelli has defended using a Gerry Ryan catchphrase live on air.
The RTE 2FM host told listeners that "the Jen line is open" - a phrase used by the broadcasting legend who passed away in 2010.
The 39-year-old started her new 9am radio show last week and told how the responses to her new gig have been "amazing".
She said: "'The Jen line is open' was just us having a laugh because a phone number hasn't been given out on 2FM in a very long time.
"Yet we have gone back to saying 1850 715 922. I wanted a show that everybody would text and call into and the response has been amazing.

"I'd love for people to check it out from 9am to 12 each weekday."
The Dancing With The Stars co-host has taken over from the slot which once belonged to Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene.
And the mum-of-two also spoke of her disappointment after her "preview" show last week received criticism over the weekend.
She told the Irish Sun: "It's tough going but it's part and parcel of the job. You have to pick yourself up.
"I was a little bit ropey today because it was still with me but it's gone now so onwards and upwards.

"It's kind of a slap in the face when you read a bad review, I just wished it wasn't a preview show.
"But people are entitled to their opinion, and I'm more interested in listeners than critics, even when the review can be quite personal.
"You can say, don't read the critics or have any interest in what the critics are saying but of course you have an interest in what they are telling other people about you."
