Assassin's Creed Shadows just got its first major DLC expansion and it's called Claws of Awaji. Naoe and Yasuke are off to the mysterious island of Awaji in this new adventure, which gives you a fresh story, and unique mechanics within the familiarity of Shadows' existing gameplay framework.
Borderlands 4 is finally here and we're all liking it a heck of a lot more than its predecessor. It's not perfect by any means, but this looter shooter and all its guns allow for pure, silly carnage in a way that's rarely matched.
Another fantastic RPG with a new DLC, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Legacy of the Forge DLC adds a whole other genre to the game. You'll be able to run a business and finally build Henry a home of his own, but there's also a whole load more role-playing features to take advantage of too.

Seeing as Octopath Traveler is such a highly-rated RPG, Octopath Traveler 0 has certainly got some hype around it. it's breaking the usual mould and letting you create your own character who can recruit a party from 30 different NPC choices, meaning it's going to be a highly replayable RPG.

We've been waiting for this one for literal years, but Witchbrook is (allegedly) coming out this year. With the looks (and publisher) of Stardew Valley, Witchbrook is an RPG where you play as the resident witch attending a pixellated version of Hogwarts.

From Pearl Abyss, the creators of Black Desert Online, is this action RPG where you play as Kliff - a man forced to rise into a leadership role after the king falls into a coma. It should be an interesting one, as it's unexpectedly more hack-n-slash than we were expecting, but its got serious potential to be pretty big.
