RPF man saves pregnant woman who fell from train at Kalyan station

KALYAN: RPF personnel saved a pregnant woman who fell in between the railway platform and the footboard of an Express train, after falling out of a moving train on platform 4 at Kalyan station on Monday morning. The incident was captured on CCTV.

RPF officials said Chandresh, his son and pregnant wife entered the wrong train and his pregnant wife fell while alighting. RPF constable S R Khandekar ran towards her and pulled her to the platform and saved her. An RPF official said that seeing Khedekar’s efforts, passengers appreciated him and other female passengers counselled the woman who got scared. Pradeep Gupta
