Roz Purcell ended up in casualty on Tuesday with a broken leg and possibly a broken foot too.
Taking to Instagram to update fans from the hospital, the Irish model explained what had happened.
Roz said: “I have broken my fibula, and it’s not a clean break it's a really awkward diagonal break and the bone has shifted so I'm waiting to hear if I need surgery".
Keeping things light in the midst of a painful situation, Purcell joked: “You know that my biggest flex used to be that I've never broken a bone and never had a filling, now I'm just left with never having a filling.
“Just to say, I’ve got strong bones, like I've had so many falls beforehand, it’s a miracle I haven't broken anything, so it was just an accident I wasn't even doing anything.”
In true freak accident form, instead of occurring on one of her adventurous outings in the mountains, this happened while playing a game of tennis.
She said: “Listen, I'll be like crawling on the side of mountains, but I was literally just stepping backward, I was playing tennis and it was a freak accident."
Talking about the extent of the pain, she revealed: “I didn’t hear it snap but I knew, like you know when you hurt something so badly you feel like you’re going to vomit, that’s what this was like.”
The Irish social media star then updated fans once again saying they think her foot may be broken as well and awaits consultation about that later today.
