Royal Victoria Hospital TV theft 'a complete outrage,' say PSNI

Police have hit out after a TV was reported stolen from the Royal Victoria Hospital at the weekend.

The 40 inch Phillips flat screen TV was taken some time between 2.45am and 3.10am on Sunday July 26, police say.

Woodbourne LPT have issued an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "[We] are appealing for your help following a burglary from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on Sunday 26th July 2020.

"A 40 inch Phillips flat screen TV valued at £300 was taken at some time between 0245 hours and 0310 hours.

"Stealing from a hospital is a complete outrage, especially at a time when our emergency services are being placed under so much pressure.

"If you witnessed this incident or have any information you can assist us with, please contact Woodbourne Police by calling 101 and quote serial 687 of 26/07/20. Alternatively you can also provide information anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
