Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered the promotion of 527 members of the Public Prosecution authority at different grades, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday.

The Kingdom’s Attorney General, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Me'jeb, lauded the royal order, saying it is part of King Salman’s continuous support to the general prosecution office.

This support is in turn part of his great and ongoing backing for the personnel of the authority to enable them to perform their judicial duties in this pivotal government body, he added.

Al-Me'jeb therefore expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their support for the office of the attorney general, hoping that Saudi Arabia will remain united and kept away from any harm.

Earlier, King Salman had issued a royal order appointing 120 judges at the Ministry of Justice at various ranks.

Justice Minister and President of Supreme Judicial Council Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani expressed his gratitude to the King for his ongoing support to the judiciary.
