Royal Mint unveils new Winnie-the-Pooh coin

• The Royal Mint has unveiled a new collectible 50p coin featuring Winnie-the-Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger.
• This coin celebrates the theme of friendship and marks the final release in a three-coin series commemorating a century of Winnie-the-Pooh.
• Developed in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company , the collection previously included coins celebrating kindness and loyalty.
• The designs pay tribute to A.A. Milne’s timeless tales of the Hundred Acre Wood, which first appeared in the 1920s.
• The new coin is available for purchase from Thursday in various editions, with prices starting at £15.
