One of just 10 "extremely rare" £1 coins manufactured in 1819 has been valued at £100,000 by the Royal Mint - and there could be many more out there.
The gold sovereign coin - which dates back 200 years to the same year Queen Victoria was born - has been listed for thousands after being valued by historic coin experts.
The Royal Mint said the George III sovereign was one of 3,574 to be struck in 1819 and more could be in existence - with around 9 others believed to be in the hands of the public.
The sovereign, which was was originally given a nominal value of £1, has been put up for sale at the fixed price by the Royal Mint .
It said the coin is being offered via a ballot on 12 July at the fixed price, reflecting its rarity and high quality.
Potential purchasers will need to apply online before 28 June.
They will also need to have their application approved before the winner is selected at random.

"Making the coin available to purchase for a fixed price is an incredible opportunity for those who want to own a piece of history."
The Royal Mint, based in Llantrisant, South Wales, is a company owned by the Treasury.
It produces coins for circulation in the UK and overseas countries, as well as commemorative editions and investment products.
Before it is sold, the 1819 sovereign will be on display at the Royal Mint Experience visitor centre in Llantrisant from 10 June.
