The Royal Mint has unveiled their newest coin as shoppers head into the festive season and it promises to be a hit with collectors.
The limited-edition coin features Raymond Briggs' much-love children's books characters, The Snowman and his human friend James.
Last year, a similar The Snowman-inspired coin, which released to celebrate 40 years since the festive tale was published, sold out within a day of going on sale.
This year's coin is just the second Christmas 50p ever to be issued in the UK - and a similar coin recently sold for £250, reports Wales Online.
The coin is available in three version; these are a brilliant and uncirculated coin for just £10, a silver proof coin for £65, or a gold proof coin that will set you back a whopping £980.
A Royal Mint spokesman said: "Taking inspiration from the original hand-drawn book illustrations, The Royal Mint has worked in partnership with award winning illustrator Robin Shaw and Snowman Enterprises to create this special coin."
