Despite racking in the cash, the previous owners have decided they have had enough or serving tourists coffee and cake and have decided to move to the Highlands.
The blue Police box, which was previously bought by businessman Kit Fraser for £102,000 is marketed as "close to Waverley train station, the city council headquarters and a new tax office opening this summer with 3,000 staff."
When it was bought by millionaire Fraser, the tiny purchase was one of the most expensive pieces of property in Europe per square foot.
