- Royal Mail is releasing a new collection of 12 stamps to commemorate the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II's birth on 21 April.
- Eight of the stamps feature milestone photographs from the late monarch's life, including her 1953 coronation and her first radio broadcast in 1940.
- A miniature sheet of four stamps highlights her well-known love for horses and dogs, showing her with pets or thoroughbreds.
- David Gold, Royal Mail’s director of external affairs and policy, stated the stamps pay tribute to the late Queen's unparalleled commitment to duty and her private passions.
- The presentation pack of all 12 stamps is priced at £22.50 and will be available for pre-order from 14 April, with general sale beginning on 21 April.
