The countdown to Christmas is definitely on and Royal Mail are preparing for their busiest time of year.
The postal service is advertising a number of job vacancies across Bristol - and it could be perfect if you fancy earning a bit of extra cash in the run up to Christmas.
Royal Mail is hiring postpeople to wok across the city and the roles include vacancies for Christmas causal staff.

Postperson with Driving - Avonmouth Delivery Office (BS11 9EY)
The role of a Postperson with driving operating out of the Avonmouth Delivery Office is available.
The part-time role is a fixed term contract until June 2021 and is 25 hours a week, between the hours of Noon and 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
The role includes covering periods of leave for a fixed number of routes, sorting the mail for your route, checking your vehicle and joining a colleague for your round as well as spending between four and six hours delivering mail outdoors.
The Royal Mail said: "From scorching summer days to the depths of winter, our postal workers play a vital role, delivering the mail. It’s a physically demanding job – but it’s one the nation relies on."

Christmas Casual - Various sites
In preparation for their busiest time of year, the company are looking for Mail Sorters at various Bristol sites.
The role will include both late and night shifts and applicants will enjoy working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, be proactive, flexible, able to push trolleys up to 250kgs and lift mail bags up to 11kg.
Royal Mail have said: "Just like Mr & Mrs Claus, you will help to deliver Christmas to everybody in the UK! Flexible and adaptable at all times, you will be doing a very important job. You’ll be helping us unload mail and parcels from our vans, moving them around our warehouses and then sorting them so they arrive at their destination safely – sometimes sorting over a million items in a single shift with your team!"
