Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted an adorable habit Princess Charlotte has picked up from her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge.
During a video call last week, Kate could be seen twirling her ponytail as she chatted to teachers from the Ribbon Academy.
She pulls her hair forward over her shoulder and curls it around her fingers before pushing it back behind her.
Fans immediately recognised this cute move from when we saw Charlotte on her first day of school.
She did the same gesture as she walked into Thomas's Battersea to meet headteacher Helen Haslem in September 2019 with her proud parents and big brother, Prince George.
Royal fan account @dofcambridge shared the cute video with the caption 'Like mother like daughter, hair goals', and fans absolutely loved the similarity.
Kate and Charlotte have been spending a lot of time together during lockdown along with the rest of the Cambridge family.
William and Kate have been home schooling, and they've been baking, doing arts and crafts and spending a lot of time outside.
During last week's call, Kate hailed teachers for their “fantastic” work during the pandemic saying they are a “lifeline” for parents.
The Duchess, 39, had four one-on-one video calls with teachers at Ribbon Academy, County Durham, which has been teaching key workers children and helping home learning.
The school has teamed up with mental health charity Place2Be which gives counselling and mental health support for pupils and children.
Kate, who is patron of the charity, celebrated emotional support during the pandemic while chatting with headteacher Ashleigh Sheridan.
She said: “I just wanted to check in with you, obviously you are doing an amazing job at the moment supporting kids.
“I know the school is open supporting key workers and things like that but I was wondering how are things? How are you getting on?
Ms Sheridan said: “We are good. Of course we can’t replicate what is going on in school entirely because that would be impossible but trying out very best to make sure everything is as good as it can be.”
Kate replied: “I think everyone can recognise that schools are doing an amazing job, as parents as well you really recognise what a vital role you do play for us on a day to day basis.
