Royal Family talks 'put on hold' after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accused of 'leaks'

Peace talks between Prince Harry and the Royal Family have been put on hold, according to reports.

It comes after apparent concern within the royal camp about "leaks" which are claimed to have originated from the Sussex family, according to The Sun.

The Royal Family has already been given a warning from a royal expert over talking to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Royal commentator Angela Levin earlier told the newspaper: "I think the Royal Family would be crazy to talk to Meghan and Harry.

"In no time it would be out in magazines and on social media."

Prince Harry returned to the UK last week for his grandfather's funeral and was pictured talking to his brother Prince William after the service outside St George's Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

He had also reportedly spoken to the Queen twice before he left to return to pregnant wife Meghan Markle and son Archie at their home in California, reports Birmingham Live.

But talks appear to have broken down now after Harry's arrival in the US was followed by stories where sources cited they had private knowledge of chats between the royal family.

The Sun reports royal aides are concerned the Sussex side may have leaked the details.

The newspaper says a report in People of Meghan Markle and Archie's phone call with the Queen ahead of Prince Philip's funeral proved particularly concerning for aides.

In February 2019, five of Meghan’s closest friends briefed People about her life.
