Royal family survey: Has the Harry and Meghan interview changed your opinion?

Prince Harry and Megan Markle gave a bombshell interview to chat show host Oprah Winfrey this week, detailing the reasons behind their decision to step back from royal duties.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made revelations about racism within the royal family, Harry's broken relationship with his father and Meghan's suicidal thoughts.

The couple also shared clips of their new life in California, with son Archie seen walking on a beach, and revealed that their second child, who is due to be born in the summer, is a girl.

The much-anticipated about two-hour interview aired in the UK on Monday night.

Since then, the conversation has continued on social media, with many people developing a newfound respect for the couple and others souring on the relationship. A number of celebrities also weighed in.

Tennis star Serena Williams wrote on social media: ""Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life - and leads by example - with empathy and compassion. She teaches me every day what it means to be truly noble. Her words illustrated the pain and cruelty she's experienced."

Meanwhile, former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, who quit the show on Tuesday evening after 41,000 complaints to Ofcom, claimed the programme left him "sickened". He said: "It’s a two-hour trash-athon of everything the Queen has worked so hard for, while her husband is in hospital."
