Royal Enfield’s finally showing us the Flying Flea C6 in motion, and this time it’s not a spy shot or grainy leak. The company itself dropped a video of the bike being tested in Leh, Ladakh, tackling steep climbs, sharp descents, and mountain switchbacks. It’s the first time we’ve actually seen the thing on the move, and while that’s exciting, it’s also just another carefully crafted tease.
RE’s been dangling this bike in front of us for months, and even with this test footage, the big question’s still hanging: when’s it really going to land in showrooms?
The Flying Flea name comes from deep in RE’s history books. Back in World War II, the company built a tiny motorcycle light enough to be dropped into battle by parachute. The new C6 isn’t going to war, but it borrows that same idea of being small, light, and practical. It’s not built to replace a Bullet or Classic, it’s more of a city-friendly commuter you’d happily slot next to them in the garage. Judging by its stance, it looks about the same size as the Hunter 350, maybe even a bit smaller.

In the video, test riders put it through both Eco and Sport modes, even with a passenger on board. The feedback was that it kept speed climbing hills, stayed smooth on descents, and didn’t show any lag in power delivery. That’s not bad for a bike clearly aimed at commuters, especially when it’s being tested in a place as demanding as Leh.
What didn’t make much sense, at least to me, was the camouflage wrap. Everyone already knows what the Flying Flea looks like, so the disguise just felt unnecessary—almost like RE’s trying to stretch the suspense a little too far.
As for what’s confirmed, the C6 sits on an aluminum-magnesium frame with a magnesium-encased battery, rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels, and uses a girder-style front fork as a nod to RE’s classic design language. It’ll come with a round TFT display packing Bluetooth, navigation, OTA updates, and features like traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control, and keyless ignition.
As of this writing, RE hasn’t shared performance numbers yet, but it’s expected to match a 125 to 150cc gas bike, which makes sense if the goal is to keep it nimble without relying on a massive battery pack.
The frustrating part is the timeline. Royal Enfield says the Flying Flea C6 won’t actually launch until early 2026, somewhere between January and March, with the scrambler-inspired S6 to follow. Price is still up in the air, though estimates put it at around the Rs 200,000 ($2,400) mark. This makes it potentially one of the most accessible models in RE’s lineup, putting more pressure on this little EV motorcycle to deliver.
Clearly, seeing it in action is a step forward, but until RE gives us real-world specs and a clear launch date, this still feels like the brand stringing us along.
