Royal Blood have announced a short run of dates to warm-up for their sets at the Reading and Leeds Festival.
The five intimate shows - their first gigs in two years - will include Rock City in Nottingham on August 13.
Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher last played the city in 2017 with , part of a UK and Ireland arena tour that amassed over 100,000 ticket sales.
This new date sees them back at the 2,000 capacity Talbot Street venue with tickets expected to sell out within a few hours.
For the Rock City show support will be from Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
Tickets went on sale at 8am today (Monday, July 8) priced at £33.

A portion of the ticket price will be donated to War Child UK, which works in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America providing protection, education and standing up for the rights of children caught up in conflict.

Royal Blood’s two albums – the self-titled debut and 2017’s How Did We Get So Dark? – both went straight to No. 1. Since then they've also picked up numerous awards including BRIT Awards, NME Awards, Q Awards and Kerrang! Awards.
