Meghan and Harry have revealed their royal baby's name is Archie Harrison and social media is going wild over what exactly inspired the moniker.
Theories so far indicate the couple's love for British TV soaps, children's show Balamory, and redheaded Archie Andrews from Netflix series Riverdale.
Meghan is no stranger to working in television and with Prince Harry's love of Game of Thrones, it doesn't come as a surprise that there's an onscreen link.
Their newborn son also shares his name with Blanche Hunt's gentleman friend Archie Shuttleworth from Coronation Street and Larry Lamb's legendary Archie Mitchell in EastEnders as well as Archie Carpenter from Hollyoaks.

Heading over to US television, younger royal fans may be familiar with Nate Archibald from Gossip Girl.
In Balamory Archie the Inventor, played by Miles Jupp, lived in a pink castle on the TV show.
One person on Twitter said: "Meghan and Harry named their son after Archie from balamory because he had a massive castle."

Others cracked jokes claiming the name sounded like "a 19 year old car thief in EastEnders".
Betting site Paddy Power Twitter page added: "Archie Windsor, sounds like a new character in Eastenders.
"He's come rolling into Walford with a flash motor and a shady past, but what is he hiding?? DOOF DOOF DOOF...."
