The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a son on Monday at 4.24pm in the exclusive Lindo wing at St Mary's hospital, Paddington, west London. "We could not be happier," the Duke of Cambridge said. How are you and the people around you celebrating the news? Share your images, text or video.

The royal baby will be third in line to the throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William, and will one day be head of the armed forces, supreme governor of the Church of England, and the head of state of 16 countries, as well as head of the Commonwealth.
