Royal baby: Loose Women panel tearful as Prince Harry is seen cradling son for first time

Loose Women panelists were left feeling very emotional today as the first pictures of Baby Sussex were revealed today.

The ITV programme was interrupted today as the world managed to get its first glimpse at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with their newborn son.

Meghan told reporters that she had the "two best guys in the world" now and described her son as having the "sweetest temperament".

"Parenting is amazing," Prince Harry said. "We're just so thrilled to have our own bundle of joy."

Meghan added: "Thank you for all the well wishers - it means so much."

When it cut back to the studio, panelist Saira Khan was tearful as she said: "I just felt so emotion, it brought back all those feelings."

"It's just such a wonderful thing," Stacey Solomon said. "It makes me a bit jealous."

Saira then pointed out the new parents seemed nervous.

"It's kind of like that Lion King moment," Stacey said.

On Monday it was announced that the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a 7lb 3oz boy at 5.26am on Monday morning.

A beaming Prince Harry announced the happy news in front of Frogmore Cottage's stables in the afternoon.
