Royal Ascot: Horse escapes starting gate, jukes handlers, enjoys a solo run

Race horse “Show Me Show Me” put in a show for the crowd at the Royal Ascot on Wednesday, breaking free of the starting gates and evading handlers for a full two minutes before stopping to take a break.

Show Me Show Me was set to compete in the 5:35 p.m. race of the Windsor Castle Stakes, but broke out of its stall, crashed into a fence, and proceeded to juke a large group of people trying to get the horse under control.

Show Me Show Me, a 50-1 long shot to win, was withdrawn from the race as a result of the escapade.
