Royal Ascot day four tips plus best bets for Ayr, Redcar, Market Rasen, Goodwood and Newmarket

PIZZA BIANCA (4.20) looks tasty for American Ace Christophe Clermont in the Coronation Stakes on Day Four of Royal Ascot.

The filly showed a potent turn of foot to rout Expand The Map on debut in a hot Saratoga maiden.

She was then chinned by UK raider Wild Beauty on her Turf bow in Grade 1 company at Woodbine.

The three-year-old gained compensation when slamming Malavath in the Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar.

The star clearly needed the run when second to Consumer Spending on her comeback at Aqueduct.

However, she showed the benefits of that effort when easily defeating Diamond Hands at Pimlico.

The daughter of Fastnet Rock is tailor-made for this Group 1 so she can shock the cream of Europe.

MAWJ (2.30) can give Saeed bin Suroor more glory at the Royal Meeting in the Albany Stakes.

The two-year-old was a totally unfancied 12-1 chance ahead of her debut in a Newmarket novice.

However, the filly defied those odds with a massively impressive five-length defeat of Believing.

The daughter of Exceed and Excel looks a proper Group-performer so she can deny a strong field.

PERFECT POWER (3.05) can get right back on track for Richard Fahey in the Commonwealth Cup.

The colt showed his liking for this venue when nailing Go Bears Go in last year’s Norfolk Stakes.

Poor at Goodwood, the sprinter atoned by hammering Trident in the Prix Morny at Deauville.

He then bagged another Group 1 when outbattling Castle Star in the Middle Park at Newmarket.

The son of Ardad stayed seven furlongs well when hacking up in the Greenham at Newbury.

However, he clearly didn’t get home over a mile when flopping in the 2000 Guineas back at HQ.

The Yorkshire raider will be much better over this stiff six furlongs so he can silence his critics.

CONTACT (3.40) can give David Barron his first Royal Ascot win in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes.

The four-year-old caught the eye when chasing home Copper Horse hero Get Shirty at Thirsk.

The grey improved again when comfortably defeating Tritonic in a warm event at Newmarket.

The colt put in another career best when brushing aside the useful Universal Order at Haydock.

This big prize has clearly been the target ever since so he can defy a 6lb hike for his skilled yard.

Some exciting types clash in the Sandringham Stakes but I’m rowing in with HEREDIA (5.00).

Richard Hannon’s filly outran odds of 11-1 when thrashing Locke on debut at Windsor in August.

She showed that win was no fluke when edging Silk Romance in a Newbury conditions’ contest.

The three-year-old defied a tricky passage when cosily denying Espressoo
on her return at York.

There is plenty more to come from this smart type who will relish the rigours of this tough event.

Charlie Appleby’s OTTOMAN FLEET (5.35) can sink his rivals in the King Edward VII Stakes.

The colt was a cracking second to stablemate Natural World on debut in a strong Newbury novice.

He looked unlikely to build on that effort when stumbling at the start on his next run at Newmarket.

However, the three-year-old came late and fast to beat the talented Zain Sarinda in convincing style.

The Godolphin challenger was staying-on strongly over 1m 2f so he can claim this Group 2 up in trip.

LADIES CHURCH (6.10) looks simply divine for Johnny Murtagh in the Holyroodhouse Stakes.

The filly stayed upwardly mobile when thrashing Pennine Hills in a Tipperary Listed contest in July.

She kept up the good work with fine efforts in defeat in hot company at the Curragh and Dundalk.

The speedster looked better than ever when collared by Sacred Bridge
on her comeback at Cork.

The three-year-old will be primed by her shrewd yard so she can go one better back in a handicap.

TIME QUEST (5.12) won’t be hanging around for David O’Meara on Summer Racenight at Ayr.

The gelding can open his account with a repeat of his close debut second to Shining Blue at Ripon.

DANDYS GOLD (5.47) can sparkle for in-form Roger Fell in the trappy Doonfoot Handicap.

The mare was unlucky to meet the well-treated True Mason back over six furlongs at Doncaster.

The sprinter still lurks on an attractive mark so she can gain compensation in this weaker event.

MOLINARI (6.22) looks above par for Martin Todhunter in the tricky Bookprinter Handicap.

The grey produced his best shift for a while when narrowly beaten by Sagauteur at Newcastle.

That race is working out well so the consistent gelding can defy a welter-burden back on Turf.

The Racing TV Handicap is just as tight but I’m on Phillip Kirby’s RED FORCE ONE (6.57).

The seven-year-old ran another blinder when just failing to fend off Grand Canal over 1m 5f here.

The gelding doesn’t lack stamina so he can turn the tables on his rival over an extra two furlongs.

Linda Perrett likes a winner here so I’m backing SIXCOR (7.32) in the sprint handicap.

Impressive last month, the gelding was then a cracking second to Eeh Bah Gum at Musselburgh.

That is respectable form so this likeable type can resume winning ways in these calmer waters.

OTTO OYL (8.05) can continue his terrific run for Team Barron in the July Handicap.

The gelding hosed up here last month then dispatched Kiss Kiss in reasonable style at Yarmouth.

The four-year-old won’t mind the likely faster surface so he can complete a quick-fire hat-trick.
