Royal Ascot 2019 kicks off on Tuesday, with five days of top class horse racing action to look forward to.
Aidan O'Brien will send a huge team to fly the flag for Ireland and Coolmore at the prestigious meeting, while Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary will have just his second ever runner at Royal Ascot when Mengli Khan takes his chance in the Ascot Stakes on the opening day.
And small Kildare trainer Kieran Cotter will be hoping for a big run from Daughter In Law who goes in the Queen Mary Stakes on Wednesday.

Weather

Racegoers might need to pack their umbrellas for the opening two days of the meeting as thunderstorms are forecast.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning over the storms.
It warns there is a small chance of flooding and damage to buildings from lightning strikes, hail and strong winds.
Rail strike

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) plan to walk out on Tuesday over a dispute with South Western Railway over guards on trains.
The five-day strike is expected to affect racegoers and commuters.
People have been advised to allow extra time for travel and check details of trains online.
Going report
The going at Ascot is currently good, but it is good to soft in places on the round course.
Tips
There's just the 30 races taking place at Royal Ascot, so remember it's a marathon not a sprint.
We've picked three horses we fancy to go close this week:
Battaash 3.40 Tuesday
Looked very good in his seasonal debut when winning at Haydock and might just reverse the placings with Blue Point from this contest 12 months ago.

Magical 3.40 Wednesday
Aidan O'Brien's filly has looked better than ever in her three runs so far this season and will be very tough to beat in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes.

Masar 3.20 Saturday
Last year's Derby winner hasn't been seen since that success, but the Hardwicke Stakes looks an easier option than the Prince Of Wales and he could go very close.
