Royal Ascot 2019: The moment the Queen laughed at Mike Tindall's hat

The Queen was left tickled at something Mike Tindall did with his hat at the Royal Ascot.

The 93-year-old attended the horseracing event on Tuesday (June 18) with her family, including Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

During the day, Zara Phillips' husband was spotted making the Queen chuckle, Plymouth Live reports.

Mike Tindall was caught on camera taking off his hat and pulling something out of it.

The item in question was a smaller hat, prompting a laugh from the Queen.

When asked about it, Mike said: "It is a chocolate hat that I am taking home for my daughter Mia.

"I was given it at lunch but it is really annoying to store in a pocket so I decided to put it in my top hat instead."

Mike, who is a former rugby player, is well liked amongst the royals and is often seen making them laugh at public events.

Royal Ascot began on Tuesday and will run until Saturday (June 22).
