One of the most iconic events in the British sporting calendar gets under way this afternoon with the start of Royal Ascot.
The five-day festival, held at Ascot Racecourse, is one of the most important weeks in the flat racing calendar, featuring eight Group One contests, and boasts more prize money than any other race meet in Britain.
The legendary Aidan O'Brien will be looking for a tenth top trainer title, while Ryan Moore and Coolmore Stud will be aiming to defend their jockey and owner crowns respectively.
Among the star equine names in action will be champion stayer Stradivarius, last year's Arc runner-up Sea Of Class, and John Gosden's exciting three-year-old Too Darn Hot.
