The highlight of the flat racing season concludes today following a week of drama.
Frankie Dettori sealed his first top jockey title at the Royal meeting since 2004 despite finishing only third aboard Danzeno in the Wokingham Stakes. Ryan Moore started the day on five winners against Dettori's seven and with only one race left, the victory of the Atzeni-ridden Cape Byron ensured the popular Italian would be top dog at the end of the week.
Blue Point supplemented his King's Stand Stakes success on Tuesday with a thrilling victory in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, while Defoe followed up his Coronation Cup triumph of three weeks ago with a hard-fought victory in the Hardwicke Stakes.
Space Traveller sprang a 25-1 shock as he beat favourite Space Blues in a thrilling finish to the Jersey Stakes, and Pinatubo proved far too good for favourite Lope Y Fernandez in the Chesham Stakes.
