Celtic diehard Alan Brazil admits he's warming to the idea of Roy Keane becoming the next manager of the team he loves.
The Irishman is keen to be considered for the vacancy at his former club seven years after he turned down the job that eventually went to Ronny Deila.
Keane - 10 years removed from being a manager in his own right - appears to be yearning for another chance in the dugout after enjoying success as Martin O'Neill's No.2 with the Ireland national team.
And broadcaster Brazil believes the close relationship between O'Neill and Celtic's principal shareholder Dermot Desmond will work in the Manchester United icon's favour.
Speaking on his talkSPORT breakfast show, he said: "I'll be honest with you, I would be more comfortable if it was Roy and he had Martin looking after him, then I would be very comfortable."
But Brazil believes even if O'Neill isn't returning himself he could still have a very big say on who comes next at Parkhead.
"Don't forget Roy and Martin get on very well together, very well together. And Martin, we know, is a real good friend of Dermot Desmond.

"I'm not saying this is definitely is going to happen but there is a chance."
Guest Jamie O'Hara is also backing Keane for Celtic and believes the demanding Irishman will be the perfect Neil Lennon successor.
He added: "I think it would be a great appointment.
"Watching him on TV, I think he would be the perfect appointment for Celtic, I really do.
"He's no-nonsense and that club needs a kick up the backside and he will definitely do that."
