Roy Keane told to 'f**k off' in surprise cameo role on The Young Offenders

Roy Keane has been told to "f**k off" in the latest series of The Young Offenders.

The former Republic of Ireland and Manchester United captain made a a surprise cameo appearance on the hit TV show which was aired on BBC Three on Sunday night.

In Episode three of the popular comedy, Jock, Conor and Mairead take inspiration from Roddy Doyle's 'The Van' by resurrecting an old chip van.

And they end up coming face-to-face with a famous customer as Keane, bedecked in a Cork City scarf and carrying a cup of coffee, approaches their van.

Seeking a fast food hit after a Cork City game, the 48-year-old asks: "Lads, if you are not going anywhere, any chance of a fish supper?"

To which all three tell the football legend to "f**k off".

Keane is understood to be a fan of the series which is shot in his native Cork.

The Young Offenders premieres on RTE Two on Monday, November 11, but is already available to watch on the BBC iPlayer.
