Roy Keane told to 'f**k off' in cameo role on The Young Offenders

Roy Keane is told to "f**k off" in the latest series of The Young Offenders.

The former Ireland captain made a surprise cameo appearance on the hit TV show which was aired on BBC Three last night.

Episode three sees Jock, Conor and Mairead take inspiration from Roddy Doyle's 'The Van' by resurrecting an old chip van.

But they end up getting a famous customer as Keane approaches their van wearing a Cork City scarf and holding a pint of beer.

Keane asks: "Lads, if you are not going anywhere, any chance of a fish supper?"

The football legend gets a short response though with all three telling Keane "to f**k off".

Keane must be a fan of the series that is shot in his native Cork, which came about after the huge success of a movie of the same name.

The Young Offenders premieres on RTE Two on Monday, November 11th, but is already available to watch on the BBC iPlayer.
