Rangers legend Ally McCoist has revealed he got the famous Roy Keane 'stare' after quizzing him over the Celtic job.
The former Hoops midfielder has been heavily linked with the manager's job and replacing Neil Lennon but has remain tight-lipped on the rumours.
And McCoist admitted he was questioning Keane on the job when he met him for TV duty over the weekend.
The Rangers hero was speaking on talkSPORT as he admitted Keane wasn't willing to divulge any information on whether he would be the next Celtic boss.
Keane has dropped down to second favourite now with Eddie Howe back involved in the running but McCoist was a bit frustrated that the Irishman wasn't willing to spill any secrets.
He said: "He never let out the bag whether it was the Celtic job or not, but I did my job.
"Well, he just effectively ignored me, really. He just looked at me as if to say 'yeah, I'm really going to tell you the answer'.
"I got the stare. You know the stare!
"I was on the receiving end of it at Wembley at Thursday and I still don't know whether he's going to get the Celtic job. That's where we are on it."
