Roy Keane has told of getting into an argument with a woman 'singing too loud' at a Neil Diamond concert.
The Ireland legend is part of the ITV punditry team covering England 's Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark at Wembley.
In the build-up to the match, a segment was shown on the song 'Sweet Caroline', which has become an anthem for the England team under Gareth Southgate.
And viewers were also treated to a video message from the song's writer Neil Diamond, showing his support from across the pond in the USA.
This promoted presenter Mark Pougatch to ask Keane for his thoughts on the singer, perhaps thinking he might not be a fan.
But Keane's colleague Gary Neville revealed that his former Manchester United teammate had once been to a Neil Diamond concert - and he still managed to get into a fight.
The Corkman replied: "He's brilliant. [I went] About 10 years ago, but I ended up arguing with the woman next to me.
"She kept singing all the songs out quite loud so I ended up in a bit of trouble that night...but brilliant concert."
