Roy Keane spotted in crowd at snooker World Championship final

Roy Keane took a break from his busy schedule to attend the opening day of the final of the 2023 Snooker World Championship.

The Corkman was in attendance for the second session as Mark Selby and Luca Brecel got their eagerly anticipated matchup under way.

He picked a cracking night to attend the snooker, and witnessed history as Selby became the first person ever to record a maximum break of 147 in a World Championship final.

The Sky Sports pundit was conspicuous by his absence on Super Sunday, missing Graeme Souness' tearful retirement from Sky Sports punditry after many years in the hot-seat.

He was at the Crucible instead and saw Selby claw back a four-frame deficit to trail 9-8 heading into the final two sessions on Monday.

The action begins in Sheffield this afternoon at 1pm.
