Roy Keane slams Marcus Rashford and Manchester United players vs Arsenal

Manchester United favourite Roy Keane slammed Marcus Rashford for his body language and criticised the rest of the squad for lacking leadership in the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second-half penalty gave Arsenal their first Premier League victory at Old Trafford since 2004 and condemned United to their third home defeat in the league this season.

Coming off the back of a dominating 5-0 victory against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, the performance from United was extremely disappointing.

Keane came out of the blocks fighting with his criticism after the game and singled out Rashford, as well as stating that the entire squad lacks leadership.

“I looked at Rashford closely today, he’s had loads of plaudits over the last few months - I know he’s still a young man - but his body language today was shocking, really shocking," Keane told Sky Sports.

"Shrugging his shoulders when things weren’t going his way, you roll your sleeves up at Man United. Things aren’t going your way, and that’s when you look at your leaders and characters.

"It’s not that I don’t see enough of them, it’s that I don’t see any leaders out there, right through the whole team from the experienced players."

United return to Champions League action in midweek as they travel to Turkey to face Istanbul Basaksehir, before an away game against Everton in the Premier League.

They return from the international break to finish November with the reverse fixture against their Turkish opponents, before league matches against West Brom and Southampton.
