Roy Keane slams Manchester United star for error v Arsenal as he gives 'that’s his job' verdict

Roy Keane tore into Aaron Wan-Bissaka during Manchester United's clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

The defender was "caught napping" as Eddie Nketiah headed the sides level after Marcus Rashford had given United the lead with a powerful strike.

Keane singled Wan-Bissaka out for criticism at half-time when speaking on Sky Sports after the former Crystal Palace player failed to prevent the Arsenal man from equalising.

He said: "It’s just his lack of awareness. It’s as if he can’t believe someone’s coming around the back of him, because he can see him, he just dozes off. A silly lack of concentration, considering we praise him saying he’s a good defender."

The former United captain added: "Of course he [Wan-Bissaka] sees him [Nketiah]. You have to be aware of him, that’s his job, this is big boy stuff, these are big moments, do your job, go and attack the ball."

In the second half, Arsenal took the lead courtesy of a fine solo strike from Bukayo Saka as the England attacker fired home from 25 yards.

The game took another twist when United drew level in the 59th minute.

Both Aaron Ramsdale and Takehiro Tomiyasu attempted to clear a corner but it dropped to Lisandro Martinez, who headed over the melee to equalise.
