Roy Keane slams England’s ‘sloppy’ first half in Norway clash

Roy Keane described England's first half against Norway in the World Cup quarter-final as "sloppy" after Andreas Schjelderup mishit a cross, putting his team in front.

The ball flew into the top corner of Jordan Pickford’s net via the post after a fairly quiet opening 35 minutes.

England complained about a foul on Harry Kane in the build-up, but the goal stood. Jude Bellingham later equalised, scoring his fifth goal of the tournament.

In half-time analysis, the former Manchester United captain told his fellow ITV pundits: " We've seen the best and worst of England there today in that first half. They got sloppy, lost concentration. They gave Norway a bit of encouragement."
