Roy Keane shares hilarious Instagram snap to celebrate St Patrick's Day

Roy Keane continues to give his Instagram followers plenty of laughs with his posts.

And on St Patrick's Day, that is no different.

The Manchester United legend shared a photo on Wednesday of him dressed up as a leprechaun alongside Gary Lineker.

The reason? A special ad for Walkers Crisps, filmed in Dublin to celebrate the launch of the snacks on these shores over two decades ago.

Match of the Day host Lineker has been an ambassador for the company for 20+ years.

But seeing Ireland legend and all-round hardman Keano chase after him while dressed in a giant leprechaun suit is just bizarre.

Keane captioned the post:''Dressed as a leprechaun chasing Lineker for a bag of crisps. Do me a favour. Up The Irish''

He even added on a patriotic Irish flag emoji at the end.

Keane has already racked up over one million followers on Instagram since joining the social media site in February.

The Ireland and Man Utd legend sent fans into meltdown earlier in the year when he posted a selfie with his dog to officially join the social media platform he was infamously against.

Sky Sports pundit Keane has been a hit over the last few years for his ruthless analysis.

Fellow football pundit and Arsenal legend Ian Wright was among those to welcome Keano to Insta, along with the likes of Phil Neville, Andy Cole and Micah Richards, the former Man City defender who has struck up an unlikely bromance with Keane in the Sky Sports studio.
