Roy Keane's brutal take on what happened in 95th-minute of Arsenal's win vs Newcastle United

Roy Keane felt Arsenal players' celebrations for the Gunners' fourth goal against Newcastle United were 'way over the top' and more akin to a side going '10 points clear in the league'.

Mikel Arteta's side recorded just their second league win in 2020 to move into the top half of the Premier League following a 4-0 victory against the Magpies.

Newcastle more than held their own in the first half but capitulated when Arsenal upped the intensity after half time and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe scored within three minutes of each other before the hour mark.

The Magpies' defending for both goals was poor and as the game became more stretched, following the visitors' shift to 4-1-4-1, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette added the gloss late on.

Lacazette, who had come on late in the second half, ended a run of nine games without a goal in the 95th-minute against the Magpies and his team-mates were delighted for him as they piled on top of him.

Ahead of Manchester United's win against Chelsea, Sky Sports' Monday Night Football anchor, David Jones, asked Keane if he enjoyed the celebrations - and you felt he knew what was coming.

"Arsenal? Towards the end? No, way over the top," he said. "When I was watching it, I thought they were 10 points clear in the league the way they were celebrating towards the end. Forget Arsenal. Way over the top celebrations for beating Newcastle 4-0. Ridiculous."
