Roy Keane's brutal take on Sheffield United highlights why Newcastle United deserved criticism after defeat

Roy Keane reckons Sheffield United could be 'one of the worst teams' to play in the Premier League.

With the Blades down two-nil to Tottenham at half-time, Keane launched a brutal attack of the South Yorkshire side - just days after Newcastle United were beaten one-nil by them.

That defeat saw Sheffield United dominate and Newcastle were fortunate not to lose by more than one goal in what was the Blades' first win of the season.

Fast-forward a few days and Keane's assessment of the side reaffirms just how embarrassing it was for Steve Bruce's side to surrender the three points.

"I can't believe what I am watching

"You feel they are a decent group and they'll have a go but I can't believe how bad they've been.

"A goal down after five minutes, real lack of quality which we know and a lack of creativity, you think they'd be a bit upbeat after the result the other night (defeating NUFC) but looking at them today, their points total, and everything else that is behind them - they could go down as one of the worst teams to play in the Premiership.

"I can't believe what I'm watching, and how bad they've been."
