Roy Keane's bold prediction coming true as Sir Alex Ferguson visits Manchester United training ground

Not to be undone by his former Manchester United midfield partner, Roy Keane ’s words in 2019 are starting to become true.

Last week, Paul Scholes correctly predicted after the Champions League win over Atalanta that should United put in a similar performance at home against Liverpool, they would be 4-0 down at half-time.

Scholes got it spot on, as the team went on to lose 5-0, and fans with excellent memories have picked out something Keane said two years ago.

After a loss to Everton, the now pundit said that these players would throw manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under the bus the way they did Jose Mourinho.

With speculation mounting that Solskjaer was facing the sack, the Norwegian took training on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.

And with his job security in question, a familiar face was seen at the training complex.

Just like he was at Old Trafford on Sunday, Sir Alex Ferguson was present at Carrington on Tuesday morning.

If Solskjaer was to lose his job, one manager in particular is starting to move above the others as the front-runner for the job.

Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly being lined up to replace Solskjaer though the Manchester Evening News understands that some people on the United board are “not keen” on the Italian.
